Withdraw from Lessons

We are sad to see you go, but we understand that sometimes you need to take a break, reevaluate, or pick up lessons at a different time. If you are a tuition student, please keep in mind that you can receive unlimited Group Makeup Credits that never expire, and we are also happy to send you Video Makeups as well! Collecting these makeups for missed lesson (versus withdrawing) ensures that you keep your lesson slot with us. We are fortunate to be signing up new students daily, and lesson slots will be taken when they become available.

Please Note: The deadline for withdrawals is the 15th of your last month as stated and agreed to during registration. We keep our teacher’s schedules full and plan for the next month after the 15th. If you withdraw after the 15th of the current month, you will still be scheduled and charged for the next month, and your withdrawal will take effect the following month. You will still have access to the lessons for that month and choose to be credited makeups. Withdrawn students lose their Musical Ladder status, recital participation, and lesson times. Registration fees will need to be paid again for returning students who have previously withdrawn. Additionally, you may opt to pay a $50 late withdrawal fee to end lessons after the current month if you are withdrawing after the 15th.

7: Recital Opportunities

Our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to, but many choose to participate. Parents like to know how their child is progressing, and recitals are the best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it. This opportunity allows students to gain performance experience in a low-stress setting, and to celebrate their achievements. Ask our staff when the next recital is and how you can sign up to be a part of it!

8: Niche Workshops and Classes Offered

In addition to our lessons, we offer a variety of classes and workshops in our studios. These range from art classes, drawing classes, and even more niche options like songwriting and rock band. Most classes stay the same year-round, while workshops are usually single events. Ask any of our staff about current offerings!

9: Homeschool Days Program for Homeschoolers

We are proud to offer a day for homeschoolers to include music and art instruction in their curriculum. 601 Studios provides transcripts at the end of each term so that families can easily claim their instruction as high school credit. In fact, Mississippi College recognizes our Homeschool Days as an educational credit for college admission.
