About the owner

Mitchell McGinnis was raised in the great state of Mississippi, from living in the Delta at a young age, to the coast during his high school years, and then the Jackson-metro area through college and onward. In 2014 Mitchell began directing the junior high show choirs at Jackson Preparatory School, and eventually added the roles of directing the senior high show choir and Fall musicals. In 2019, Mitchell attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey to obtain his Master’s of Vocal Pedagogy degree. Mitchell teaches in his private studio at 601 Studios, holding weekly lessons. Mitchell also enjoys holding masterclasses and workshops, and traveling to work with various groups.
