Our instructors are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. We are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. Our instructors have warm personalities and are dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn.
2: Most Diverse Range Of Lessons In Central Mississippi
This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple lessons on the same day. Other studios offer multiple instruments, but we are the only one to offer the most variety of lessons in Central Mississippi for all of the most popular instruments: Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums, Acting, Brass, Ukulele, and more!
3: All Genres And Forms Of Art Are Embraced
Classical, pop, rock, musical theater- you name it! Our instructors are ready to engage with you in instruction to help you achieve your musical and artistic goals. We believe everyone has the ability to improve and move toward being the musician they aspire to be! We do not hold one style of music as being higher brow than another.
4: Tailored Lessons For Student Goals
Our lessons and instruction are completely tailored to the goals of the student. Whether you’re hoping to play your favorite Bach piece, or you want to play in a rock band, we will set goals with you to get you there! We are equipped with the best instructors to help you meet your musical and artistic goals. We also incorporate The Musical Ladder® into our lessons to help students stay motivated.
5: Modern And Beautiful Facility
We are proud of our facilities and the environment they provide for quality instruction. In addition to being comfortable and modern, our studios have the capability to have numerous lessons and classes happening at the same time. We also have comfortable seating for parents and siblings to wait while a lesson is happening. Come see for yourself why families and students rave about our space!
6: All Rooms Equipped With Full Visibility
Full visibility into studio rooms gives parents peace of mind, gives staff the ability to communicate effectively during lessons, and also provides safety for all of our students. Safety is our top priority for all students and staff, and it’s why we’ve implemented this safety feature. Feel free to look into a lesson when you visit to get a glimpse of how lessons operate!
7: Recitals For Performance Experience
Our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to, but many choose to participate. Parents like to know how their child is progressing, and recitals are the best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons are really worth it. This opportunity allows students to gain performance experience in a low stress setting, and to celebrate their achievements.
8: Niche Workshops And Classes Offered
In addition to our lessons, we offer a variety of classes and workshops in our studios. These range from art classes, drawing classes, and even more niche options like songwriting and rock band. Most classes stay the same year-round, while workshops are usually single events. You can always see what we’re offering and planning on our Classes and Workshops page,
9: Homeschool Days Program For Homeschoolers
We are proud to offer a day for homeschoolers to include music and art instruction in their curriculum. 601 Studios provides transcripts at the end of each term so that families can easily claim their instruction as high school credit. In fact, Mississippi College recognizes our Homeschool Days as educational credit for college admission. Learn more here!
